Dec. 7th, 2018 09:15 amBefore she met the others Minako was pretty much a normal girl, wanting to find her true love and like any normal type of girl, if she liked someone she would write them a love letter which shows she can put her feelings out there if needed, even if it is in a form of a letter she keeps to herself and never actually give it to the person.
Given the fact that her planet, Venus is one based on love, she is the type to help those who are having love problems and try and deal with it in the best way possible. Need love advice, Minako would more than likely try her best to give advice on the subject, even though for herself she has picked to serve her princess rather than have a love of her own which has been mentioned in the manga when she was told she would always pick duty over love. She doesn't mean that she won't find boys cute regardless though.
Much like Usagi, Minako pretty much wasn't one to study, as her tests usually showed low scores because instead of studying she usually goofs off and would do things that she prefers such as volleyball, gaming, idols or just anything else instead. But with her lack of smarts in school, she makes up for in athletism, something she is very good at.
As shown in Codename Sailor V, Minako sometimes does not do things that are very ladylike, like for example climbing over walls and getting her clothes dirty. She doesn't seem to mind doing as such if it means getting somewhere quicker.
As Sailor Venus, she is pretty much the leader of the inner Sailor scouts, minus Usagi who is the princess and the one they have sworn to protect at all costs. When we see her in the Sailor Moon manga, you can see that she has the leadership qualities one needs to be able to do it. Before that, she had never really taken the job at all seriously when she was just known as Sailor V which in part could be because she was just 13 at the time and because as a teenager she had in her mind priorities of boys and other things. But with the experience, she had slowly learned how to be a leader over time and has a better understanding of the situation.
Although she has her duty to the princess, Minako just like everyone else has a dream of what they want to be when they're older. In her case, she wants to be an idol, much like all the other idols she had admired in the past. Overall Minako can appear to be that bright, bubbly and cheerful teenage girl, who can get overly excited about things such as boys or idols she admires very much, but underneath that is a serious, determined and mature person that comes through when she becomes Sailor Venus.
Minako does have her doubts, especially when it comes to her wondering if she was a good enough leader. Due to her duties as a Sailor Guardian, she has her worries about if she would be able to make her dreams of becoming an idol a reality.
