Venus Crystal Power, Make Up - This is the phase used by Minako to be able to tranform into Sailor Venus
Venus Love and Beauty Shock - Venus uses her Love chain that's found around her waist to fire a blast of energy aimed at whoever she was aiming at.
Strengths:
She's rather atletic since she likes to play volleyball, so her agilty and reflexes might be a little better.
Weaknesses:
She has the same weaknesses as other people, so she canstill easily get hurt and die, just like the others.

Before she met the others Minako was pretty much like a normal girl, wanting to find her true love and like any other normal type of girl, if she liked someone she would write them a love letter which shows she can put her feelings out there if needed. But it doesn't mean she would stop trying, she does have a determination when it comes to the subject of love, but if given a choice she would choose duty over love, but that doesn't mean she won't help others with there own love problems or continue to want a boyfriend, but never really getting there.
Like Usagi, Minako to begin with pretty much wasn't one to study, as her tests usually showed with twenty three percent in one test we know of. Instead of studying she is one to usually goof off and instead do things that she prefers such as volleyball or just exercising instead. this shows that the girl is really athletic and what she lacks in smarts she'll make up for with that.
As shown in one page of Codname Sailor V, Minako has shown to sometimes not do something ladylike, like for example climbing over walls and getting her clothes dirty which goes to show that she's not one to overly mind if her clothes get dirty as she is willing for them to get dirty if needs be. As Sailor Venus, she is pretty much the leader of the inner Senshi, minus Usagi who is the princess and the one they have sworn to protect at all costs and when we see her in the Sailor Moon manga you can see that she has the leadership qualities one needs to be able to do it. Also while as Sailor Venus she can be more serious than she is usually and will always try and help out her friends if needs be.
Like the others Minako if needs be would use her own life in order to save Usagi's, if that was what it would take, she has also been known at the beginning to pretend to be the princess, in order for the real one at the time to not be discovered by the Dark Kingdom. This shows that she is willing to put herself in danger, to ensure that the princess would be safe. Although she has her duty to the princess, Minako just like everyone else has a dream of what they want to be when they're older. In her case she wants to be an idol, much like all the other idols she had admired in the past. Overall Minako can to most appear to be that bright, bubbly and cherful teenage girl, who can get overly excited about things such as boys or idols she admires very much, but underneath that is a serious, determind and mature person that comes through when she becomes Sailor Venus.

[When Minako had first arrived, she ws rather unsure of her surroundings, so keeping close to the moogle at the moment she learnt about the deivce. When it was switched on Minako could be seen with a smile. She was hoping that her friends were okay and that they had arrived safe and sound.]
Ah, hello everyone. [She waves slightly at the device, a smile upon her face.] My name is Minako Aino and this rather cute little creature told me that my world has gone. Is this true? If so will someone please explain what exactly is going on?

Her shoes hit the cobble floors of Traverse Town, Minako a new arrival stood there looking around, looking at the new and unkonwn place she had arrived at. She knew just by looking that she had never been here before, this place seemed different and new, unlike what she was use to back home. Wondering just what happened and why she had come here, she started to walk, hoping that there was someone that she knew who was close by that could help her in finding out not only where she was, but also if anyone had seen her friends.
As she was about to turn a corner, going towards the second district, a cute white moogle appeared before her carrying a very tiny bag that within it held all that it needed. "Hello miss and welcome to Traverse Town, kupo~"
This creature made Minako curious and at the same time suspicious, it was like he knew she would be arriving there, but as to how, she had not yet understood. She stood there for what could be a good couple of minutes before kneeling down to take a closer look, still not trusting of this cute little creature yet, after all it could be a enemy they would need to defeat. "What are you exactly? Are you an enemy?"
"No, kupo! I'm a moogle and I'm here to give you these." She watched as the so called moogle held out a odd looking communcation device with ears and a key to a place she didn't know yet. She knelt there still, looking first at the moogle, then at the device and key and then back towards the moogle. It was a couple of minutes before she figured that something that cute and fluffy couldn't be so bad, so with a smile she gladly took the items "Why thank you, but can you tell me more about this place?"
She needed to know more and hope that with the new information she hoped this moogle would give her, she would be able to fine her friends and Usagi and continue with her duty to protect Usagi to the best of her ability.
